The intervention radiology group at the New Jersey Medical School has the widest range, most depth and longest history of treating all forms of liver disease in New Jersey. Over 200 procedures a year are performed to treat liver disease. These include hepatic artery embolization, radio frequency ablation, percutaneous alcohol injection, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography, and transjugular intrahepatic portal systemic shunt.
